Barbie and Forever 21 hosted a preview of their new Barbie Forever 21 Collection at the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica this week. The free shopping event was open to the public, where they were treated to sweets, manicures and photo ops! Guests of all ages browsed through the collection celebrating the iconic Barbie doll, from adorable tees, tanks, hoodies to hairbrushes and more!
Pink was definitely the featured color of the evening. Barbie’s pretty, pink Corvette was parked out front with a tiny toy version displayed on the rear of the car! Shoppers posed for photos on the pink carpet and made their way inside for a delicious customized ice cream sandwich from Coolhaus. The dirty mint on chocolate chip cookies was heavenly. Next stop for my daughter was the temporary “Ken” tattoo station. She wore hers proudly as she hammed it up with Ken himself for a photo.
