For those choosing to celebrate from the comfort of their couch, Eataly has specialty platters of the finest Italian formaggi e salumi platters such as the Classico Grandissimo which features Gorganzola, Taleggio, Mortadella, and 14 month aged Prosciutto. They also have specialty products flown in just for the holiday season including a Culatello di Zibello, cured pork salumi from Emilia Romagna, and Moliterno al Tartufo Bianco, a sheep’s milk cheese from Sardinia, made with ground white truffle.
It’s not a NYE celebration without a glass of bubbly and luckily Eataly LA has a wine section filled with experts to assist you in picking out that perfect bottle, some highlights include Particella 232 Sorelle Bronca, Ca’ Del Bosco Franciacorta and Monte Rosa Franciacorta Flamingo Rosé NV. If cocktails are more your speed then Eataly invites you to recreate their Anthony Bourdain-inspired cocktail ‘Chef Confidential’ which has a slight kick from combining two opposites featuring the strong flavor of Mezcal but is mellowed by the strawberry syrup.
‘Chef Confidential‘ Terra Cocktail Recipe:
(1) Add your choice of Mezcal
(2) Add Cocchi, dry vermouth, lemon juice, strawberry syrup
(3) Add ice to old fashion glass
(4) Add sliced strawberry garnish
And for those who don’t want to host an NYE event, Eataly LA invites them to celebrate the New Year at Terra, Italian style! Celebrate the countdown to 2023 with a delicious three or four-course menu inspired by the flavors, scenery, and traditions of the Italian countryside. Dining options include striped bass tartare, burrata with farro and porcini mushrooms, beef tenderloin, Alaskan halibut, and more! There will also be a live DJ, photo booth, holiday cocktails, and a special spumante toast at midnight! You can book seating for one of two time slots: 3-Course 6PM Seating and 4-Course 9PM Seating.
