A must see this summer is happening at Legoland California, — Ninjago World, featuring Ninjago The Ride! Now open to the public, this exciting new area is sure to be hit!
Ninjago World is all about honing in your skills and training to become a Spinjitzu Master. First stop in training is to test your creativity at Zane’s Temple Build. Next, balance at Kai’s Spinners, then show your agility at Cole’s Rock Climb and test your speed at Jay’s Lightning Drill. Once you have completed your training, it is time to do battle. Jump on Ninjago the Ride to help Kai, Jay, Cole and Zane defeat snake tribes, skeletons, ghosts, Lord Garmaddon (King of the Skulkuns) and ultimately, The Great Devourer! You and your fellow riders must work together using all the elements to defeat this giant serpent.
For the first time at a North American theme park, this new technology allows you to use hand motion (no more holding a device) to interact with the ride and build up points to become a Spinjitzu Master! Smoke, lighting, wind and heat makes this an exciting 4D adventure!
As you exit Ninjago The Ride, be sure and check out your score and picture at Wu’s Warehouse. You can also pick up your favorite Ninjago souvenirs and Ninjago Gear. My little warriors couldn’t leave without their Ninja armor and swords to continue their training at home.
Training and defeating The Great Devourer is hard work, and your Ninjago warriors are sure to be hungry and need refueling! The tasty Asian inspired food at The Ninja Kitchen will do the trick. Enjoy Banh Mi sandwiches on fresh baked baguettes or steamed Bao Buns with crispy pork belly, lemongrass chicken or baked sweet chili tofu. It was a little spicy for my kiddos, but they still devoured it.
Ninjago World is a new favorite adventure for my little kiddos at Legoland California. I love that both my three year-old and five year-old were both able to get on the rides and really enjoy themselves.
