Wingstop Introduces Limited-Time Serrano Pepper Glaze Flavor + Giveaway

Chicken wings are addictive and so yummy. My favorite flavor are hot wings. The hotter the better! While, I don’t want them to burn my face off, I can handle the heat. Yummmmm. Wing Stop invited us to try their new flavor, Serrano Pepper Glaze and I was happy to oblige. It was really tasty. Available for a limited-time, the Latin-inspired sauce is a flavorful blend of spices with a splash of citrus.

My family ordered 20 pieces of boneless wings, a basket of seasoned french fries, chicken strips for my daughter, and a side of veggies sticks. We enjoy classic but decided on boneless wings as I was feeling a bit lazy. Boneless are perfect for someone who doesn’t want to deal with bones. And it could be me but the boneless seems to have more meat! Our 20-piece order included a combination of Serrano Pepper Glaze, Original Hot, and the zesty Garlic Parmesan wings. The Serrano Pepper Glaze was first up. Initially, your taste buds are treated to a nice, savory taste… until the heat kicks in. The glaze is thick, and packs a punch. But, the tangy, citrus flavor balances out the experience. In my opinion, The Serrano Pepper Glaze is hotter than the Original Hot flavor. My taste buds shifted into high gear thinking the wings would taste really good on a bed of rice to soak up the glaze! My husband said it was his favorite out of the 3 flavors we tried. The Original Hot wings didn’t disappoint and the Garlic Parmesan was my least favorite out of the three. I like heat so I prefer the spicier
wings.

The wings are cooked to order. Look for the cooks tossing and preparing your wings in the open kitchen. The fries are hand cut, made from Idaho potatoes, and the large size was plenty for the three of us. My daughter gobbled up the chicken fingers, which were moist, and included a nice layer of crispy batter. Just how we like it! This point might be mute – don’t forget to order the veggie sticks. They are the perfect side to cool down your palette. The ranch dressing is also great for dipping the potato cut fries. Tasty!
