Robots have survived the test of time, and I think that’s due to their many positive attributes.
Firstly, they span the age gap – my dad, two year-old son and 12 year-old nephew can all be entertained by a good robot.
Second, robots are often the straight man or funny guy in shows, for instance R2D2 in Star Wars or Rosie the maid in The Jetsons.
Third, how much easier can you get then drawing a robot. Basically all you need to be able to do is draw squares. My kids think I am the best robot artist ever!
Seriously though I love the design elements of robots. There are so many, really neat robot-themed products for kids in the marketplace today. Here are some of my favorites.
