Show your love this Valentine’s Day by getting crafty. Crafts don’t have to be complicated or expensive especially when it’s last minute. My daughter and I decided on an easy project involving a few Juicy Juice boxes. We scoured through our overflowing craft bins for inspiration and came up with these three cute ideas that kids will love. I might even slip one into my husband’s backpack. One is never too old for a juice box and a Valentine’s message.
Here is a list of materials for each of our Valentine’s Day Juice Box craft masterpieces:
Be Mine
- Pretty decorative paper
- Tape
- Chalkboard heart with piece of chalk (found this at Target in the $1 section). Black construction paper will also do the trick.
Size the paper to the box and tape it in place. Tape the heart to the box. Write your message and viola!
Monster
- Construction paper
- Googly eyes
- Feathers
- Glue or tape (I didn’t have any glue on hand)
WOW! Our monster is adorably kid-friendly. We measured the size of the construction paper to fit perfect around the juice box. Then we taped googly eyes to the front of it and taped feathers to the top of the box to give it a nice hairdo. Our monster is complete with a mouth made out of construction paper. We also gave him a heart to display a special message.
Robot
- Aluminum foil
- googly eyes
- candy
- pipe cleaner
- tape
- stickers
Wrap aluminum foil around the box. Tape the googly eyes on. We taped lollipops to the sides of the juice box as our Robot needs arms! And for the feet…Starbursts! For the mouth we used a small piece of pipe cleaner. The rest of the pipe cleaner can be used to create a heart antenna. The antenna can be any shape. Now, if he only had a heart! We gave this robot its wish by adding a heart sticker. This craft used the most materials but is still super fast and easy! Don’t have candy on hand? Grab some extra pipe cleaners to create arms.
You really can’t go wrong with any of these options. There’s no right or wrong way so I skipped step-by-step photo instructions. I love that they are DIY made with love! To me, Valentine’s Day is every day, so use these crafts as an inspiration when you’re looking to treat someone sweet in your life! Have fun!
