If you’re a parent, and you’ve got kids, there’s a pretty good chance that you’ve got a few pieces of artwork hanging up either around your house, or on your refrigerator. I love the pictures that my daughters drew for me when they were little, and I’ve kept a few in their memory boxes (okay, bins!) that I especially love. When I found a website that promised to turn artwork into jewelry, I was more than intrigued, I was down-right excited! I have two pictures that have been on my refrigerator for years – seriously – one has been there for nine years, the other for six years. I love them far too much to ever put them away. But, they’re getting old, and a little tattered, and one even has some spaghetti sauce on it. When I found kidzcandesign.com, I thought it was the perfect solution. I took a picture of each piece of art, emailed it to myself, and then downloaded it onto my computer. Next, I completed the online form, selecting plain silver for one design, and silver with black to fill in the lines.
The process was super easy, and in just a few weeks, my pendants arrived at my door. The number of compliments I’ve received when I wear the necklaces is unbelievable. One friend even asked if I had purchased the design my then five year old made at a local art festival!
Kidzcandesign.com offers a variety of options from personalized name designs to pendants and charms, bracelets to bookmarks, key chains to dog tags – the choices are fantastic. Like them on facebook for more fabulous ideas and inspirations!
With the holidays right around the corner, this is the perfect way to surprise a special family member with a piece of artwork that’s sure to make every heart melt. There are a variety of “special prices” you can take advantage of with items ranging from $49.99 – $149.99. I can honestly say that my two pendants are instant favorites because it captures a time when my teen and tween were little, and now, I’ve always got a piece of them with me, wherever I go!

I am not sure what masterpiece I’d choose. It’ll take a lot of deliberate thought.
Nine years ago tonight, I laid down in bed next to my eleven year old daughter, and the cancer in her brain killed her. She never woke up again.
What a day to contemplate what I might choose….I just know it’d be treasured.
My oldest has a butterfly picture I think I would do.
Her giraffe would be awesome as a jewelry piece
My daughters artwork. She likes drawing girl characters.
My eight year old created a character called Chirpy. He would be ecstatic if I wore a necklace of Chirpy.
Shes created so many things that could be turned into a masterpiece! I think my fav is her drawing of a tree person…its a good one.
It would be the family portrait he drew at school
She drew a cartoon family of us, classic!
Dd has so many, it will be hard to decide on which one to use! There are several family “portraits” and then lots of landscapes and houses! LOL
Portrait of our family.
My son’s first handprints for mother’s day.
I would turn my daughters drawing of a dove into my masterpiece!
My son created a T-rex that would be great as a necklace.
My daughters stick figure picture of me and her dad
My son’s family pictures he draws of us.
