It was love at first sight! I first laid eyes on Hallmark’s itty bittys when I attended the D23 Expo. Monsters Inc.’s Sulley and Mike looked up lovingly at me in a sea of other pint-sized bittys.
I have to admit that I have an obsession with miniature sized collectables and at 4″ the bittys are soft, cute and most likely represent one of your favorite superhero or animated characters. Once upon a time, in a not so distinct galaxy, a group of itty bittys banded together to make up the Star Wars™: A New Hope™ set. The Collector Set includes Luke Skywalker™, Obi-Wan Kenobi™, C-3PO™ and Jawas™. Additionally, R2D2™ and Darth Vader™ can be purchased separately. The fabric is high quality and easy to clean while keeping it’s shape. The cost for the 4 piece Collector Set is $29.95 and $6.95 for individual bittys (R2 and Vader).
I hope that they continue to add to this line with possibly Wicket the Ewok™ and Chewbacca™. Other adorable itty bites include Disney princesses (did you see Elsa and Anna?!), cool DC Comics and Marvel super heros plus classic Mickey and Minnie figures. 2015 will feature cute must-haves from the Peanuts gang, Muppets (Kermie??) and Pixar fans!
