After 5 years of its absence during the park’s Buena Vista Street and Cars Land expansion, the foodie favorite finds it’s home once again in the heart of Disney California Adventure. From celebrity chefs to all new beverage seminars, here’s what to expect and what we’re excited for during the return of the seasonal offering.
Weekends from April 1st to May 1st, park goers will get to experience the unique palette of California dishes and drinks to taste the Magic of a California Spring. With that Celebrity Kitchen returns as a fun way to participate in 90 minute cooking demos with the hottest chefs in the industry like Guy Fierhi (Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives) and Graham Elliot (Master Chef, Master Chef Jr.). Learn cooking styles from the pros and get new recipes but be sure to sign up ASAP cause space is limited. Each seminar is $99 bucks for general and Annual Passholders get special access to priority seating with a special gift for $149. Included in all admission is a taste of 3 dishes and a beverage pairing for adults 21 and over.
And if drinks are more up your alley, there are Beverage Seminars for wine and mixology enthusiasts. The Sonoma Terrace will be hosting an array of 45 minute sessions to spirit guests away. At only 15 bucks a booking, you can find out more about California wines and beer as well as vodka, whiskey and tequila cocktails from experts in the field. Each session will include 3 tastings from professional winemakers, sommeliers, and brewmasters.
Around the park there will also be festival curated dining and drink options if you opt out of the ticketed events. Select locations all over Disney California Adventure will feature special Festival Marketplaces. Each one will be showcasing the regional diversity of California food and wines with separate festival-inspired menus.
