On a sidenote, I was able to order my Girl Scout Cookies through the Digital Cookie site while attending the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show in January. The Girl Scouts had a booth at CES to introduce and demonstrate the site to attendees. The Digital Cookie allows a Girl Scout to create an personal page detailing her goals, learning, cookie sales and more. This program teaches additional skills using email and online marketing techniques.
I purchased half a dozen Peanut Butter Sandwich cookies from the Girl Scout that was giving me a demonstration on her iPad. It was so convenient to buy them this way using my credit card, I didn’t even mind the additional shipping fee. Came home to a nicely packed box of cookies, straight from the bakery, which arrived days before I came back from CES.
