I have to say one of my favorite parts of blogging is meeting other bloggers in real life. Who knew that there were so many bloggers in the So Cal area! I love that I have become friends with bloggers on and off-line. Not only do Moms enjoy being social but our kiddos are hitting it off as well.
DesireeEaglin.net and I recently arranged a blogger meet up in Laguna Beach. I’m not familiar with beaches in the OC so it was fun to explore and visit some more California seashore. Main Beach in Laguna stretches along the PCH and has shops and restaurants which is busy with locals and tourists. Beware, surfing is not permitted on Main Beach during the summer months due to large rip currents.
Spending time at the beach with family and friends is the perfect summer activity. But it’s also important to continue learning over summer vacation. PBS Kids VIP generously supplied books and bags for the kids who attended our meet up to encourage them to keep learning outside of school. Thank you PBS Kids!
