It’s a new year, and I always intend to start off with being organized! Good intentions aside, sometimes, I need something to help keep me that way. I recently came across the BabyBriefcase, and had to look into it further. Ever since my 2nd was born (11 months ago now!), I’ve found it increasingly difficult to keep his important documents organized, and separate from his big sis’. Not to mention, his files were getting lost in the abyss of our everyday household paperwork! I would have some of his paperwork in the file cabinet, some in his baby book, and some in a pile on my desk because I wasn’t sure the best place to keep it. The BabyBriefcase has been just what the doctor ordered—a great all-in-one solution. Basically, any important paperwork I have for him I put in the BabyBriefcase, and I haven’t had to wonder which “pile” to look for it in—which has been a HUGE timesaver!
It really has been the perfect solution to my disorganization problem (at least, as related to the kids’ paperwork!). It has helpful, preprinted tabs such as “Birth Certificates”, “Insurance” and even a “Thank You Note Tracker” (I think the latter will come in handy for his upcoming 1st Birthday). It also includes blank tabs to make it more customizable. I love that I can tuck his important documents away, and keep them all together. I’ll definitely be picking up a second one for my daughter, too (wish it came in pink!).

She believes that the drudgery of paperwork can be lightened with a sense of humor. It’s functional as well, and was an iParenting Media Award winner. The BabyBriefcase can be purchased at stores nationwide-just put in your zip code here and a list of local stores come up. You can also purchase it directly from their website. Retail price: $29.99.
