The Los Angeles Philharmonic is going looney – Looney Tunes, that is!!! Bugs Bunny and all of his favorite Warner Bros. buddies from the outrageously funny classic cartoons are coming to the Hollywood Bowl for what’s sure to be a fabulous night of music under the stars.
The LA Philharmonic will bring back to life, the original scores by Carl Stalling, under the direction of George Daugherty. The Bugs Bunny at the Symphony anniversary party is an event that parents and kids won’t want to miss. We all grew up watching Bugs and all of his antics! This is a fabulous way to introduce your kids to these hysterical characters. Music will be perfectly timed to the cartoons which will be playing on huge screens – the perfect way to combine classic Warner Bros. cartoon comedy and music at the amazing Hollywood Bowl!
Special features for the night include a live orchastra premier of Long-Haired Hair, Rabid Rider – a new 3D short, a tribute to Mel Blanc by amazing voiceover actor Bob Berger, and a performance by Ida Nevasayneva, prima ballerina of Les Ballets Trockadero de Monde Carlo showcasing Bugs Bunny’s over-the-top ballet “skills!”
Warner Bros. presents Bugs Bunny at the Symphony – 25th Anniversary will be at the Hollywood Bowl on Friday, Aug 14th and Saturday, Aug 15th, with both shows at 8:00pm. Tickets range in price from $18-$87, and fabulous seats are still available.
