Nintendo reveals a schedule of events and Pre-E3 announcements. Nintendo will be showcasing its software lineup for the upcoming year and a few for 2016.
Nintendo World Championships 2015 Pre-Show and Competition were held, for the first time in 25 years, at L.A. Live in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 14. Out of eight winners from regional qualifying event, only one will be crowned 2015 Nintendo World Champion.
New Content for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS & Wii U was announced during a special video presentation with Masahiro Sakurai, the game’s director. New characters, downloadable content, amiibo figures and three fighting game franchises unite for the very first time are available now.

Nintendo Access: Mario Maker at Best Buy
On Wednesday, June 17 (4-9 p.m.) and Saturday, June 20 (noon-5p.m.), over 120 participating Bust Buy locations in the United States and Canada will feature hands-on sampling for the upcoming Mario Maker game for the Wii U. Play through levels in a variety of Super Mario Bros. styles. Everyone who demos the game will receive a button commemorating the 30th anniversary of Super Mario Bros., while supplies last. My Best Buy members who pre-order two select Wii U or nintendo 3DS games from the participating Best Buy stores will get a free limited-edition Mario Maker seven-button set, while supplies last.

Special Mii & Miiverse News
To celebrate E3 week, your Nintendo 3DS may receive a series of special Mii characters via SpotPass. Make sure you have SpotPass enabled and have your system turned on or in sleep mode during that week.
Aside from these official announcements by Nintendo, there is a leaked promotional image of some new amiibo figures. The official Nintendo of Europe Twitter account accidentally tweeted out the image which shows an 8-Bit Mario and four Animal Crossing figures of Tom Nook, Isabelle, Mabel and K.K. Slider.
