Are you looking for an alternative to your children’s existing kitchenware? My daughter Teagan can be very picky when it comes to her kitchenware. She definitely has her favorites. Her items of choice are usually her “size”. One of my goals is to make sure that the products we buy for her are safe. Kinderville satisfies the safety criteria, with a wonderful cuteness factor, for our household.
Kinderville products are the perfect size for early learners. The coolest feature is that they are made out of silicon. We received Kinderville’s Little Bites Storage Jars, Cups, Bowls and Ice Pops to try out. All the products are non-toxic, dishwasher safe, microwave safe and freezer safe. We have limited cabinet space and these products take up minimal space when stacked. The pieces come in coordinating colors, which is fun for Teagan when she sets her place at the table. The silicon material is flexible and that initially worried me. I thought that meant endless spills by a 3 year old but the pieces have weighted wide bottoms and so far they have stayed in place with no accidents.
My daughter loved the Ice Pop Molds (set of 4). The molds have a tapered design, which makes it easy for the pop to be push up to the top. We’ve made pops with healthy ingredients. Enjoy ice pops year round!
My favorite is the storage jars (set of 4)! The lids suction to the cup and it seals tight! I like packing goldfish crackers and other small snacks in them for Teagan when we hit the road. I’ve thrown the storage jars in my bag without having to worry about messy spills and the jars can be reused (bye-bye plastic bags).
Teagan mostly uses the bowls for cereals and lighter meals and the portion sizes have been perfect. The pieces are durable, keep their shape and you won’t have to worry about them being dropped and then breaking. They are pricey but worth the piece of mind considering they are PBA, Lead and Phthalate- Free.
The colorful sets range from $12.99-$19.99 on www.amazon.com and also can be purchase at at www.kindverille.com. Kinderville also carries a line for older kids called Bigger Bites.
