Review & Giveaway: Crayola Color Wonder Metallic Paper

Crayola has been a trusted name for generations and it’s definitely one of my top choices for children’s art supplies. I loved when my mom would buy me a new box of Crayola crayons. The rows of bright colors were eye candy and I loved the fresh crayon smell! Crayola has greatly expanded their line with affordable products. There’s always something new for our young budding artists to explore and create with. My daughter loves to draw and create artwork so it only made sense to me to look for art products that would keep my daughter busy while we were traveling this summer.

We were offered the chance to review the Crayola Color Wonder Metallic Paper and it definitely came in handy during our long flight to the East Coast and on a recent road trip to San Diego.

The Crayola Color Wonder Metallic Paper was the first item my daughter pulled out of our carry on bag. She loved the shiny images on the box and quickly pulled out the five markers, special paper and began doodling. The metallic colors are shiny and yielded “oohs” and “aahs” from Teagan as well as our seat neighbors on the flight. I was quite impressed with the metallic effect! We used the drawings on the packaging as inspiration and created super-shiny Robots, flowers plus drawings of our dogs.

Moms love mess free products. These markers won’t write on anything else, which is ideal for traveling or perfect for those families with kids who love drawing on walls. I did notice some of the colors lost their shine on the paper over time. That was a complete bummer since we love the metallic shades! Also, the colors did smudge a little when they weren’t completely dry.

Teagan loved creating with Crayola Color Wonder Metallic Paper. She stayed focused on her drawings and the special paper helped pass the time on our long trips. I will definitely buy replacement paper seeing how much Teagan enjoyed her metallic creations. This product is super-easy to use, lightweight, something we could use together. Plus, it was a big hit during our travels.
