Thank you for this contest! I have love Hello Kitty since 1977!!! I remember walking by the Sanrio Store, and the image of Hello Kitty caught my eyes!! She is just sooooo cute and the things that were sold in her image are so fun & useful! Because my parents were so strict, they hardly buy me any Hello Kitty things, except for maybe a pencil & notepad. As I got older & got my first job, I was able to shop all things Hello Kitty, and I just never stopped loving her. Now I am married and still continue to collect Hello Kitty items! Today she represent my younger days, but also peace and friendship.

I love Hello Kitty because she is an icon. She’s so simple and classic. I have so many memories of Hello Kitty within my childhood, I grew up with her and will continue to grow old with her. I love how Hello Kitty appeals to all ages. Her personal motto,”you can never have too many friends” is an addage which appeals to everyone. She may be simply a fictional character who does not have a mouth since she speaks from the heart but for me Hello Kitty speaks volumes and will forever remain of great significance.

I love the mr. toast set of four plush dolls. The toast, egg, bacon, and lemon are so adorable and would always remind me of the importance of a good breakfast. =)

I love the smell of the erasers. 🙂 Reminds me of elementary school when hello kitty anything was currency and we’d trade stuff during lunch and recess. It was the only store at the mall I looked forward to going to. I used to have books of stamps to win the free prizes, but i was never spoiled as a child so I never got very far. It just reminds me of childhood…

Awww… How I love Hello Kitty, let me count the ways! Hello Kitty reminds me of being little. It makes me think of hanging out with my mom and her taking me to Sanrio, so I could get a grab bag. It represents everything that is cool about being a girl! This is an awesome giveaway! I went to the Three Apples Exhibit and wasn’t able to get the official book, so you can imagine how excited I was when I saw your giveaway! Thanks a bunch!!!

Ooh Mr. Toast is sooo cute, but my favorite item on the site is the “Ninja Joe” plush! Something about Ninjas and breakfast food that I just absolutely love!

i heart hello kitty (actually, more like: my little twin stars, tuxedo sam, kerokerokeroppi, cherry chums and badtz maru) because it reminds me of my first real job shirokiya, ala moana.

a majority of my paycheck went towards said sanrio characters (and in said order), the rest of the dough went towards fees for college apps.

what I love, love, love about hello kitty is that she is timeless, ageless, and classic. To me, hello kitty reminds me of fun times, friends, and everything happy!
from little kids to “big” kids, hello kitty allows us to see happiness in any situation and brings a smile to everyone’s face the moment they lay eyes on her…

The thing about Hello Kitty that I love is that she brings people together without forcing it. She represents what is good and we need more of that on this planet. And not to mention her selection of merchandise is not too shabby eiather.

Oh wow, I totally want that book! I’m a huge fan of many of the artists involved in the exhibit so I’m super curious about who its signed by. I live near LA but couldn’t make it out to any of the events due to school.
