ABC’s Mistresses is back for their second season tonight at 10/9c . I couldn’t get enough of the four friends- Savi (Alyssa Milano), April (Rochelle Aytes), Karen (Yunjin Kim) and Joss (Jes Macallan) who weaved a tangled web of scandalous drama and lies, which included but not limited to affairs, paternity test, a husband who came back from the dead and even murder- all that in the first season! The women are back along with a very attractive male cast for the premiere of season 2 and so many decisions will be made! Lucky me! I got to see it!! You will not believe what happens next…
Last month I visited the set of Mistresses where we watched the finale of season 1 in addition to the premiere. Who does Savi wind up with, Harry or Dom? Who is April dating now and is Karen over Sam? What I want to know is who is Joss sleeping with these days? NO spoilers here but I promise that you will not be disappointed. Along with the screenings, we had a tour of the set and looked at April’s shop, Savi’s kitchen and the law office where Savi and Dom hooked up. Who better than Dom (Jason George) to show us around! Jason has twins who just turned six and he admits to liking his cast members and hangs out with them when he can.
We don’t want to say too much but Jason did say this about Dom, “Dom always wanted the best for Savi and he has plans if Savi chooses him. Aren’t you dying to know?? HARRY OR DOM?
To wrap up our set visit, costume Designer Roemel Hawkins spoke about the outfits for the season opener. Roemel said that she brought along looks that were pivotal for the premiere episode. Savi wears a lot of black in the episode to represent her transition. She has an edgier look, will be in leather and a new hairstyle. Karen looks great in red with lace insets for her. April gets her mojo back! Expect her in leather which toughens her up a bit and gives her some spark. Last but certainly not least is Joss. The woman who pulled off Thor’s girlfriend’s costume will be in pantone’s color this season a radiant orchard. Everything looks wonderful on Joss. Look for her in a mini skirt one tonight. Mini skirts are really huge this season.
