Not only has tea added another new destination for the the fall, they also brought back some of their all time favorite designs from the past 10 years. In honor of their 10th year anniversary you can revisit some of tea’s favorite destinations. I have been a huge tea fan for the past 3 years and I didn’t realize how many destinations there are!
Past tea destinations:
- West Africa
- Old World Hungary
- Modern Mexico
Pretty diverse list! I was more than excited to receive some pieces from the 10th anniversary line for my 4 year old daughter, Adeline. My very favorite is the Kasato Stripe Dress. I love anything with stripes and especially nautical looking stripes like this dress. The Kasato Stripe Dress first debuted in Destination: Brazil in Spring 2009. It has a nautical flavor and is named for the steamer ship that brought Japanese immigrants to Brazil in 1908. The dress retails for $45 and the 100% cotton material makes it perfect for the playground.
The next dress we received the Sumi Floral originally made it’s debut in Fall 2007 (the year Adeline was born) Tea brought it back this season in a classic wrapneck knit style dress. The soft cotton dress pairs great with the skinny stripe leggings in indigo. The dress retails for $35 and the leggings $22. Adeline is a size 6 and this dress fit great. The outfit is perfect for all occasions casual or dressy.
The Butterfly Dot Dress is Adeline’s favorite! She wants to wear it every day and has already decided this is the first day of school outfit. The red butterflies on a field of blue dots made its debut with our Fall 2009 Japan inspired collection. The 100% cotton flutter sleeve dress looks great paired with leggings or alone. The dress retails for $29.
What I love about all of these outfits is the fact that they can be paired together and are perfect for back to school. Once the temperatures drop the pieces can be layered making them perfect for more than one season (which is necessary in New England)
And we can’t forget to mention this seasons destination- Nordic Design. Tea designers flew to Denmark, Sweden and Finland to find inspiration for the Nordic Collection. The bold colors, clean lines and tea’s own pattern designs are sure to catch your eye. Here are my top picks for boys and girls! You can find all these styles on tea’s Website.
