I admit it, I’m a Nutella addict. I first tried Nutella on a trip to Austria in the 90s. My husband and I were staying with his extended family. We stayed in their guest house and Nutella was on the breakfast table with other spreads, breads and meats. Hazelnut spread? Sure, I will give it a try. Wow! How did I survive all those years without Nutella? =)
Ok sure, it’s a sometimes treat. It’s high in saturated fat but the occasional PB & J/Nutella sandwich brightens up my day! Or I’ll add a dollop to vanilla ice cream, or spread it on a Reese’s peanut butter cup, or add it to hot chocolate. Yum! It’s the perfect time of year to enjoy a nice hot cup of cocoa (although I enjoy it anytime of year). It’s super easy to make. Add Nutella to a warm glass of milk. Viola! You are in Nutella heaven.
You can take a look at this super duper cute recipe card for details but there’s no way you could do wrong, a little Nutella goes a long way. Add more for a richer hazelnut taste!
